This website is built to WCAG 2.1 AA, and where we could go further, we did. The audience is older. half of the people this page is aimed at will be reading at eleven at night with tired eyes, and we do not want the site to be the thing that fails them.

What that means in practice

• Body text is 18px on every screen, never lighter than a regular weight.
• The main body colour is 7.4:1 against the background. comfortably past the AA floor.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels on every side, so a shaky finger still lands.
• Every form field has a real, visible label. no placeholder-only fields.
• Every image has real alt text.
• Colour is never the only cue for meaning; errors carry an icon and words.
• All keyboard focus states are visible.
• Motion respects the operating system's “reduced motion” setting. including the availability dot in the top bar.
• The site works at 200% zoom without breaking.
• There are no autoplaying carousels, no sound, no parallax.
